what we’ve been up to as of late. all photos courtesy of my outdated iphone. 😉
^^^ lunch and more lunch at our favorite local fish shack.
^^^ family in town so we made sure to hit up Cafe Karibo multiple times. their crab dip is always on point. now i’m craving it again, great.
^^^ took a trip up to columbus, ga to see one of our favorite singer/songwriter/performer/musicians, chris stapleton. he and his wife are ridiculously talented. we had such a good time driving through the country (despite literally driving through a tornado in the dark one night!) and disconnecting from our everyday. always down for a little getaway with my boo thing!
^^^ kate spade’s, deb camplin
^^^ the next weekend I hopped in a car with these beautiful people and their kiddos and we were off to market in high point, nc. we stayed at a gorgeous lake house up the road from high point so we managed to squeeze a little downtime in between seeing #alltheprettythings. it’s going to be a great year for @lordandlady and @lolainteriors! thrilled to be a part of this talented team.
^^^ we made a few big decisions for the new house – like finally decided where to put the fridge and pulled the trigger on my dream sink. why is it so hard to make decisions for your own house but so easy to make them for others?! so stinkin’ excited to get this show on the road. ps. changed that bead board to shiplap last minute and i’m pretty darn happy about it. #caniputshiplaponthat #ilikebigislandsandicannotlie
^^^ everyone and their mama (hey mom!) has been asking about my new job. still loving it! how could i not when i get to look at pretty things like this all day?! it’s actually really fulfilling to play a part in helping clients make their houses into HOMES.
^^^ easter Sunday was a family filled, eat four/five meals kind of day. loved it. just the way it should be.
^^^ shrimp fest happened. read all about it here.
