One is fun! Alba Grace is at that perfect age where she still thinks we’re the coolest people on earth and she’s finally mobile enough to get out and about for weekend adventures! Last weekend we took a trip to Celestial Farms, celebrated AG’s bestie Lemon’s first birthday and still made it to church on Sunday morning! It was a busy weekend but such a blast!
One of Pearce’s co-workers recommended Celestial Farms to us after bringing her granddaughter for a visit. It’s an animal care and rescue farm on the north side of Jacksonville. There are tons of friendly animals, things to do (including a bounce house and a John Deere train ride!) as well as gardens and playgrounds to explore. With a goal of learning, healing and growing – the concept of the farm is to be all-inclusive by teaching compassion, forgiveness and empathy. There is no fee to visit the farm but donations are greatly appreciated! You’re welcome to bring carrots and crackers to feed the animals!
We had so much fun watching Alba Grace run around, chase ducks, feed the rabbits and get to know the animals. We’ll definitely be back soon with a few of our baby buddies in tow! ๐

We realized on the way to the farm that we had forgotten AG’s shoes at the house. So we ran by Old Navy to grab a pair of shoes so she could run around the farm. To our surprise, she is nearly busting out of these 18-24 month mary jane’s! She’s grown like a weed over the past month! Also, Alba Grace is wearing my sister’s baby dress and it’s giving me all the feels! ๐
Favorite snap! This girl loves her daddy… and thought the horse was pretty neat too!
Mom life at it’s finest. The little John Deere train ride was her favorite!
