Alba Grace and Millie have been sharing a room since Millie was just a few months old. I’ve always loved the idea of our girls sharing a room. I shared a room with my sister and although I can’t say that all of my room-sharing memories were delightful (sisters fight…) I think it was good for us!
When we moved into our home we originally had a nursery for Millie girl but it rarely saw much action. We did most things in AG’s room or out in the main living areas. So we decided to switch things around by turning the nursery into a playroom! Best decision for our space! For the most part, the girls are on the same schedule and do pretty well together now. I rarely get both of them to nap at the same time in the same room but they do a pretty good job at night. We all do bedtime together at night and then they “chat” and sing and laugh (or cry…) until they fall asleep. Love hearing them giggling together. Although lately, we’ve had to do a lot of reinforcing boundaries and rules because AG is having a little too much fun! ๐

*While I wish I could link everything, a lot of what you see was purchased a while ago or found at local antique stores so I can’t link some of the exact products. But I did my best to find alternate options that are similar! As always, please reach out if I’ve missed something! 10 months postpartum and still claiming mom brain! ๐
