MY BESTIE HAD A BABY
I shared on Instagram last week that my best friend, Catie had her little girl! She’s so beautiful and I can’t wait for her and Alba Grace to become the best of friends! AG seemed very intrigued by her when we went to visit but we’ll most definitely have to work on the whole “gentle” thing over the next few months! Catie had a really great hospital experience which has me thinking about my own experience and how very different it was. I really need to get to work on a 4th trimester blog post in hopes that it’ll help readers who may find themselves in the same boat. Ps. Many of y’all asked about the gift tags I made to go along with the cookies we dropped off at the hospital, will share those with you soon!!!!
DAFUSKIE
I’ve never been to Dafuskie Island in South Carolina but it looks like the perfect destination for our next vacation! It’s a real deal island in that you have to take a ferry to get to it and everyone drives around on golf carts. Which also means super limited access to necessities. Sounds charming right?! And frightening. Haha! Have y’all been?! Would love to hear about your experience before we sign ourselves up for this!
FRESH START
Don’t want to be a buzz kill but it’s almost August which is bittersweet in the Fussell household (mostly bitter….because Pearce goes back to work soon!) but it also means that I get to start fresh with a new Simplified Planner! If you’re not an SP owner, you 100% most definitely should be. I worked with this amazing team for years and I can assure you that no detail is left out of the design! So much love goes into the process of creating these planners. It’s a beautiful, incredibly functional resource for women! I couldn’t do what I do without it. I went with the blue stripe cover this year (which is now sold out) but I was also eyeing this pretty floral (still in stock!) Grab one while you can!
CARE-FREE WINE GLASSES
I’m considering splurging on a set of these wine glasses. I love a stemmed glass and can’t get over how good these look for being acrylic! One of my favorite bloggers, Christine at North Carolina Charm recommended them.
PINEAPPLE GOLF SET
I snagged this golf set for AG at our Target (I think it was $6!!!) but it’s on sale online for $9. Storing for Christmas when AG can enjoy it. Does anyone else stock up on Christmas gifts all year long?! I can’t be the only crazy person! 😉
