We’re currently in Beaufort, SC enjoying our “happy place” and taking in all of the fabulous porches that this Southern paradise has to offer! ๐ Here are a few things worth chatting about this week…
MADE BY MADDIE
Made by Maddie designs sent me the cutest earrings last week! Her newest cloisonne collection is such a fun one! Love the vintage feel! If you like what you see, you can use code SOMETHINSOUTHERNDISCOUNT for 15% off your purchase! SUPPORT THE MAKERS Y’ALL! ๐
BIBLE RESOURCES FOR LITTLES
Do y’all follow @francieoutlaw on insta? She’s a gem! She just launched a FREE printable resource for helping little ones study the bible! I can’t wait to do it with AG. I’m actually planning to start using all of her “teaching my toddler” resources in the fall!
FALL CHILDREN’S CLOTHES
A few of my favorite lines just launched their fall collections for little ones! I’ll share a big roundup next week of all of my favorites but in the meantime, be sure to check out the affordable fall sweetness at the Bella Bean (use code SOMETHINSOUTHERN for 10% off!), alllll the cuteness The Beaufort Bonnet Company just launched (couldn’t resist this blouse for AG), and the darling fall & winter goodies that Grace and James just launched (use code MCKENZIEF5 for $5 off your purchase!)
ADIOS RETINOL
I haven’t shared a ton about Beautycounter’s new Countertime collection but I’m really really excited about it! The collection is designed to combat the signs of aging using a retinol alternative called bakuchiol. Even as a beautycounter consultant, I had no idea just how bad retinol was for us until the studies around this line came out. Thrilled to have a high performing, safer product to turn to in place of retinol! Also… can we talk about that pretty pink new packaging! Swoon!
PRAYER JOURNALS
Have y’all tried Val Marie’s pray journals before? I’m a fan! The concept was a little overwhelming at first and I hesitated to get on board because I thought it was a little “too structured” BUT I purchased a couple on clearance to give them a chance. Now I actually appreciate the prompts and direction! I feel like it’s really helped focus my prayer life and broaden what I would typically think to pray for.
love y’all! mckenzie
