I recently set out to come up with a solution for all of the art that comes into our home! For years our fridge has been covered in projects from preschool and seasonal crafts we work on at home. I wanted to mix things up and create a dedicated art wall to display some of our favorite pieces. I set out in hopes that this would also help us decide what to keep, what to store and what to (secretly…. after bedtime…..) toss in the trash.
This large wall in the playroom was the perfect spot to corral it all. I purchased these lucite frames in the 11×14 and 4×6 sizes (sold out of 8×10 & 5×7 but those would have been great too!) with tiny gold corner brackets. They’re so easy to swap art in and out of! I hung them on either side of the picture ledge we already had up. My friend Grace had a great idea to incorporate these gold clips underneath the picture ledge for the weekly art the girls bring home on Fridays! They can even hand pieces themselves with these easy clips. I love how it came together!!!! Ps. Grace has a great post here about their home art display wall here!
These cute map prints are drawings of some of our favorite (real + storybook) places like neverland, the hundred acre woods and the magic kingdom! The artist is Elizabeth Wade!
