It’s almost here! My favorite day of the year is just a few sleeps away. As most of my readers know, we’re hosting the big event this year. First on my list of Christmas prep to-do’s was getting the table set and ready to go. We still need to pop in the leaf and set up a few seats at the bar, but other than that we’re pretty much ready to go. I did a little trial run with the place settings yesterday, these photos are the result of that. I’ve also left all glassware off the table because we’ll be setting up a couple drink stations for easy access throughout the day. Let the festivities begin!
I kept the table pretty simple with gold chargers, gold flatware (mine is last year’s set from West Elm, but I’m loving this newer set they did!), white dinner napkins with gold rings, and of course I displayed my favorite Christmas China. I played around with a couple different centerpieces and didn’t love any of them so I ended up displaying my favorite ceramic pineapple front and center. It’s a sign of Southern Hospitality so I think it’s an acceptable piece of holiday decor! The place cards and place card holders are from the Target dollar section! SCORE! And last but definitely not least, the table runner is a piece of fabric I picked up from Hobby Lobby few years back. Love the preppy stripes and festive color!
Are you hosting Christmas this year?! I’d love to see your tablescape!
