It’s officially the end of summer and I’m stepping into fall kicking and screaming. I’ve mentioned it a thousand times before but I am soooo not ready for this summer to be over! It went by waaaaaaaay too quick. We moved and moved again, Pearce got ready for a new job, and we put together the house. Next summer we’ve promised each other that we’ll take it easy to make up for the lack of sunshine we squeezed in this time around. Already planning vacations. Yes, I’m that girl. On the bright side – one of my #AfterPartySale pieces arrived and I’m obsessed. This dress has been worn at least four times since it showed up on my porch. I’m all about lightweight Lilly, such a blessing with these warm Southern summers. (Sizing – fits true to size. For reference, I’m 5″4, wearing an xs.)
I typically pair this dress with a clutch but wanted to break in my new GiGi New York tote in time for Fall. Anyone else OBSESSED with the entire GiGi New York line? This tote will definitely be a fall wardrobe staple for this girl. The well placed monogram, huge amount of storage, and gorgeous tan leather will be perfect for coffee shop work days this fall. I think it might also make a cute diaper bag down the road! 🙂
Hopefully I’ll wake up tomorrow with a much better attitude about this whole fall thing. Hope y’all had the best Labor Day weekend!
