editors note: I may or may not be watching Dear John and crying my eyes out while writing this…
How in the heck is it already the (third?) week of June?! This summer is passing by way too quick. Don’t you think?
These life lately posts are quickly becoming my favorites. They help me remember happy little moments and they offer a better (less curated) reflection of what my life is really like. And judging by the page hits on these posts, it looks like y’all enjoy them as well! #Keepin’ItReal
We checked on the house for the billionth time this month. Still waiting on a closing date and some touch up work to be done, BUT we’re getting there. I can’t wait to fill this home with our favorite people. The building process has proven to be much more difficult than we anticipated and we’ve had some major road blocks along the way. Pearce and I are choosing to stay optimistic and thanking God for the blessings instead of focusing on the negative. I am however, wishing we could take a short break from all the #Adulting we’ve been doing. Hey Pearce, maybe a vacation is in order? 😉
^^ We enjoyed yummy sangria at Cafe Karibo, not once but twice in the past few weeks.
I hung out with two really cute little boys while their parents went to a wedding. And we watched the wedding from the above balcony. It wasn’t a bad setup at all!
Ain’t that the truth. ^^^
I got a little out of my comfort zone and walked into Free People. I don’t hate this dress. In fact, I love it. It’d be perfect for my friend’s fiesta bridal shower next month. Also available in blue! I’m the least hippie-ish person ever so I felt like a fish out of water, but that store is GORGEOUS.
We ate at my favorite gourmet Mexican restaurant, Cantina Laredo. Have y’all been?! Their fish tacos are to die for.
I finally found the newest editions of the #SimplifiedPlanner at our local Swoozies. It’s so surreal seeing them on shelves!!!
^^^ my little sister finally agreed to hang out with me! (shop my dress here)
^^^ we celebrated my favorite lady’s birthday! love my nana!
And last Saturday we celebrated my 22nd birthday with a night out on the Amelia River Cruise! Such a fun experience. I highly recommend it if you’re ever in the area. Ps. Thanks for all of the birthday love on social media! Y’all are the best!
