Hey, friends! Sorry for the lack of blog posts lately, we’ve been crazy busy (all good things, all good things!) BUT I managed to carve out a little time this week to prep some posts for the next few weeks! So stay tuned for all kinds of Somethin’ Southern goodness this month. Now here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to lately. March sure FLEW by and it seems like April is too…
^^^ We kicked the month off with a trip to Tallahassee for a Camp Kesem event my little sister was a part of. Shortly after starting school at FSU she got involved with the organization and has been an important part of her school’s chapter. If you haven’t heard of Camp Kesem I’d love if you took a minute to read a bit more about what the organization is all about! And if you feel led to give, you can do so here.
Ps. While we were in Tallahassee we dined at a few majorly tasty restaurants that are worthy of a mention. The first is Madison Social. This one’s right next to my sister, Madison’s (yep, same name as the Restaurant) apartment so we’ve been here a few times. Yummy apps, drinks, and salads! Also worth mentioning is the brunch spot we tried on Sunday, it’s called Table 23. SO GOOD.
^^^ The baby bro went to his junior prom. This made me feel old.
^^^ We celebrated Pearce’s birthday with dinner at one of our all time faves, Restaurant Medure. We had a blast!
^^^ We sold our first home (more on that later) and signed on the dotted lines for the construction of our new house to start. I’m anxious to get moving and will try to do a much better job blogging about the experience this time around!
^^^ We snuggled with our friend’s newest addition. HOW CUTE IS HE?!?!
^^^ We ended the month with a fun cruise around town and dinner at 801 Kitchen & Bar! The cruise was a blast (per usual – the Amelia River Cruises team knows how to have a good time) and dinner was pretty darn tasty! Will definitely be back for more.
March, you were good to us!
