Just the other day I was telling my husband that one of the best parts of getting older is that you learn what you like! You learn to define your style, you learn which coffee to buy at the grocery store, you learn which hair salons are worthy, and build a list of “go-to’s” for just about everything. As we “age” we get to know ourselves better. It might sound boring to my younger readers but I’ve liked this aspect of getting older.
I’ve so enjoyed the process of designing homes for others and designing my own. The more I do it, the more I learn about what I like and why I like it. Sometimes I like things two things enough to pair them together, even if it breaks a design rule. If you love something, you can typically make it work in your space!
All of this to say… here’s this week’s moodboard! It feels very “me” so I’m excited to share it!

Ps. We have this rug in our kitchen and it’s beautiful in person! Love it so much that I’m contemplating replacing our current (see also: filthy) living room rug with this one!
