Oh hey. Took a much needed break from this little space over Christmas so that I could spend as much time as possible with my squad. That time of year is so special to me! I love casting vision for the year to come, cutting back on projects, and being lazy with my people. For the past few years Pearce and I have taken a trip right after Christmas. For tradition’s sake I wanted to make it happen again this year, but with a six month old we figured we’d enjoy our time more if we stayed home. And we did. Maybe next year we’ll plan a trip and get back to our little tradition or maybe we’ll stay in our PJ’s and make memories at home. I’ll be happy as a clam either way!
Christmas with little miss was 100% as magical as I’d hoped it would be. While pregnant during Christmastime last year I dreamed about what this season would look like, with Alba Grace finally here. From meeting Santa clause (twice actually, two different santa’s, she’s onto us!) to opening gifts on Christmas morning in our matching PJ’s, it was everything I’d hoped it would be! SO much joy!
