We said goodbye to Spring and hello to “summer” last month (aka no school) with a family roadtrip to the Strawberry farm!
The girls had the BEST time eating their weight in berries and picking a few to take home! The owner of the farm showed us the ropes, helping us choose the very best berries in all the land. It was a magical day with perfect weather and the biggest freshest strawberries we ever did see! Alba Grace and Millie LOVED every second of it and we loved supporting local farmers and exposing the girls to where their food comes from!
We went very late in the season so there was only one other family out picking. I believe a bucket of berries (fill to your hearts desire!) was around $15. Be sure to grab cash before you visit as there are no credit card machines.
If you’re in North Florida or South GA you’ll have to visit Ochlockonee Ridge Farms! A super sweet family owned u-pick farm in Moultrie, GA. After visiting be sure to head to downtown Moultrie for lunch at Three Crazy Bakers!
We can’t wait to make more memories over the next few months!
