wearing our favorite Beaufort Bonnet Company Jammies!
And… she’s off! Last month brought many changes, the biggest being Alba Grace’s new ability to crawl! Friends warned me that once she started crawling, our entire world would change. That’s definitely true, but it hasn’t been as scary as I feared it would be. I’m doubling up on my eye cream usage and googling “cute ways to babyproof” but other than that, it’s been a blast to see AG roaming the house. The 7-9 month age is a favorite of mine! Babies are learning so much, exploring the world, and interacting so much more! When she crawls into a room I’m in and smiles up at me, it melts my heart!
last month she…
Celebrated her first Christmas (full post coming soon!)
Learned to crawl. This has been fun but it’s messed up her daily napping. Hopefully just for a short period! She’s much more interested in roaming the streets (hallways) than sleeping. She’s also woken up in the middle of the night a few times this week because she’s crawled into a weird position in her crib!
Started pulling up on her crib. We’ve since lowered the mattress! She’s getting so strong.
Started eating food each day in addition to her bottle. She love the Once Upon A Farm pouches!
things I’m looking forward to…
Using the walker. She’s still a little small but I know she’ll love it!
Spring outfits! Alba Grace has so many cute spring outfits I can’t wait to see her in. We’ve had some really warm days but I think we’ll try to wait until March/April to bust out the Lilly! ๐
hardest moment…
Can’t think of anything right now!
favorite moment…
Christmas morning of course! Dream come true. It was so sweet to see her light up when we sat her in front of the tree.
I also love our morning snuggles. Every morning while Pearce was off work, we’d bring her into our room and snuggle her until she was ready for breakfast.
products we’re loving…
DockATot Grand Dock – We’ve been using the Dockatot Deluxe since day one. When she reached about 14 pounds we switched her to the Grand because it provided her with a little more wiggle room. I get asked a lot about whether DockATots are worth the splurge. My answer is always YES! AG has slept in a DockATot her whole life and in my opinion, she’s an amazing sleeper! Once your baby is used to sleeping in the DAT you can take it with you on trips and they’ll have the same sleeping setup they have at home. I love that!
Storybook Bible – I’ve shared this Bible before. By the time AG can read she’ll probably have already listened to this one 100 times, haha! Pearce and I love the way this one is written. The story format is perfect for children and the illustrations are stunning.
Tights – I’ve had Alba Grace in these tights under her dresses throughout the winter. They’re only $10 for a pack of two. I’ve learned that when you buy white tights, it’s better to buy inexpensive and in bulk! These are frequently out of stock so grab them while you can!
love y’all, mckenzie
