Summer is coming y’all and I’m pretty darn S T O K E D about it! I love everything about it! I’ve been working hard to develop an easy + fun summer routine for our fam and simplifying my beauty routine is a big part of that. I don’t wear nearly as much makeup in the summer – partly because I’m lazy and partly because I spend so much time at the beach or pool. Below are my summer beauty essentials that I’ll be soaking up all summer!
This list is compiled of absolute essentials and a few products that you may not have heard of, but I feel deserve a little time in the spotlight!
- Hydrating Body Lotion – I think I’ll have you sold when I tell you that this one is a citrus mimosa scent. Yep, it smells just as amazing as you’d think! I love that it’s suuuuper lightweight and not too thick. I wear lotion much more in the summer to prolong my tan and calm my skin after a day outdoors! I’m also wearing shorts and dresses more so I want to ensure my legs aren’t dry.
- Nourishing Rosewater Mist – This one is totally underrated. I love setting my makeup with this one, spritzing on throughout the day to wake up, and wearing on it’s own for a quick and easy summer complexion booster. It’s the ultimate face refresher and it smells like heaven.
- Charcoal Face Mask – This is crucial in the summer months because it helps smooth, purify, and detox skin. So important to me after I’m outside in harsh heat all day long! It also helps even out your skin tone!
- Mineral Sunscreen Lotion – Did you know that most of the sunscreens sold in stores are hurting you instead of helping you?!
