The weather is FINALLY cooling off a bit and while the leaves aren’t changing yet (welcome to Florida!) the pumpkin patches around town are getting us in the mood for fall! Fall always puts me in the mood for a party! Anyone else?! Whether it’s a pumpkin carving girl’s night, a Halloween costume party, or a huge fall festival for the kiddos – hosting at home can be stressful! Below are a few of my tried and true tips for hosting a get together without all the stress and mess!
Tips For Hosting A Stress-Free Fall Gathering:
- Keep It Outside. Nothing screams fall like the cooler temps! Invite your guests over to enjoy the weather by hosting you soiree in the great outdoors. Backyards can be the perfect setting for your fall festivities. Throw up some twinkle lights, bust out the pumpkins (and the bug spray!) and you’ve got yourself a party venue. Hosting outside also helps keep the mess to a minimal so you can enjoy the party without worrying about the hours of cleanup ahead. Because… ain’t nobody got time for that! 😉
- Clean In Advance. If you’re hosting outdoors you’re still bound to have a bit of pre-party cleaning ahead of you (looking at you patio chairs and guest bathroom!) so you might as well take one thing off your party day to-do list and clean in advance. I’m a big believer in knocking out chores the day before an event. There’s nothing worse than a stressed out hostess who’s been working up a sweat all day cleaning! You deserve to relax on party day.
