Apple Pie Crescent Rolls

I know what you’re thinking… another recipe? Yes. I’ve been hooked on fall goodies and can’t stop pinning them. This one is worth making, like right now. Tonight. Get in the car and drive to your nearest grocery store – you won’t regret it.

2-1-of-1

Here’s what you’ll need to make these delectable treats at home –

– 1 Teaspoon Apple Pie Spice (Who knew this was a thing? Not me!)

– 1/3 Cup Crushed Pecans

– 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar

– Two Apples Cored (& Cut Into 1/2 Inch Slices)

– One Package Crescent Rolls (Nothing wrong with store brand!)

– 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter

3-1-of-1

First,

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Core and slice your apples into 8 1/2 slices. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

4-1-of-1

Next,

Toss apple slices in a small bowl with your melted butter. Separate your dough into 8 (or more if you’d prefer smaller bites) slices.

6-1-of-1

Finally..

Mix brown sugar and apple pie spice in a small bowl. Sprinkle mixture evenly onto crescent slices. Drizzle slices with butter (am I starting to sound like Paula Deen yet?) and top with pecans. Top each triangle with an apple slice, and then starting with the short side, wrap the dough around your apple slice. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool before serving!

Lets give credit where credit is due – this recipe was adapted from Pillsbury’s original recipe.
