sweet dreams little one
Anyone else suffering from a case of floral fever these days?! We saw gorgeous botanical patterns all over market last year and I’ve been hooked ever since. When it came time to select baby girl’s wallpaper I knew I wanted something fresh and unexpected, which led me to this gorgeous paper from spoonflower. I was inspired by Amy Berry’s perfect nursery so in keeping with the blue and white, I decided against painting our henry link dresser and kept the gorgeous navy lacquer and original brass hardware. After selecting the wallpaper and dresser I wanted to sprinkle in a few natural elements as well as a few pops of pink. It is a sweet little girl’s room after all…
We’ve spent so much time in this room over the past six weeks! I’m thrilled with how it evolved into the perfect space for Alba Grace to grow up in.
a few of my favorite details:
-
- the framed dress that was mine as a child
-
- baby’s first bonnet (from the beaufort bonnet co. of course!) displayed on her shelf
- all of her art – one of mama’s favorite songs framed by our friends at framebridge and lettered by mason alley calligraphy, her monogrammed crest, isaiah 40:31 lettered by juliet lapham, and a lulie wallace print that stole my heart.
