Happy Tuesday! I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend. I sure did! Pearce and I had the best time together. I gave up social media for two entire days. I know that doesn’t sound extremely difficult and it’s probably harder for me than it is for most people because I work in Social Media. Despite my irrational fear that something eventful/terrible would happen over the weekend and I’d be the last to hear about it, the experience was actually quite freeing! No one died, I surprisingly gained social media followers, and Pearce and I had a blast together. One of my best friends did get engaged but thankfully she texted me prior to posting on FB so I didn’t have to wait days to find out the exciting news! Have y’all ever taken a #SocialMediaFreeWeekend?!
On to the outfit… I’m officially breaking out Spring colors. Slowly of course, but it’s happening. As you can tell, Winter didn’t really catch on around these parts. The first order of business was to take this darling Kate Spade tote out of hibernation and pick up some tulips to brighten up our christmas tree-less apartment. Yes, I Pearce finally took the Christmas tree down. He actually threw it down the second story balcony (man thing?). Anyways, I picked up these fun Navy Trellis pants at Gap (style only available in stores – similar here) to pair with my J.Crew Tuxedo Shirt (on major sale right now in several colors!) and these trendy Leopard Loafers (similar style here) for a day date with Pearce. We did a bit of shopping, explored the gorgeous Mirasol, and stopped by David Island Coffee Bar. It’s wonderful, have you been?!
